BRIT CARE KITTEN MILK – PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Remove the contents of the package – Brit Care Kitten Milk 250 g, the feeding bottle with teats, cleaning brushes and leaflet.

  • Thoroughly sterilize the bottle and teats by boiling them.

  • Mix the milk at a ratio of 1 part milk powder to 3 parts boiled water (40–45 °C). Use the scale marked 1–5 on the bottle: fill the bottle with milk powder up to mark 1, then add boiled water at 40–45 °C up to mark 4.

  • Close the bottle with the sealing cap and mix the contents thoroughly directly in the bottle. The temperature of the prepared milk should be between 38–39 °C.

  • Fit the bottle with one of the teats according to the breed size and age of the kittens. Place the kitten on your lap and begin feeding. Before feeding the next kitten, reheat the milk to the required temperature of 38–39 °C. After feeding, hold the kitten in an upright position and gently massage its tummy. The kitten should burp, just like a human baby.

  • Immediately after feeding, thoroughly wash the bottle and used teats in warm water with dishwashing detergent using the brushes provided for this purpose. Prepare fresh milk for each feeding.

Before feeding another kitten, reheat the milk to the required temperature of 38 °C – 39 °C. After feeding, hold the kitten upright and gently massage its belly; it needs to burp just like a human baby.

  6. Immediately after feeding, thoroughly wash the bottle and used teats in warm soapy water using the designated brushes. Always prepare fresh milk for each feeding.
